Balcony Garden, 35 days in

My garden has grown tremendously! If I didn't have the photos from the first few days I wouldn't believe how fast it has grown. I have had a couple setbacks though:

1. I got a few tiny red spider mites. They ate up some tomato leaves :( So I was vigilant about inspecting my plants twice a day, killing any that I saw, and I sprayed all the plants with a natural soap (Dr. Bronner's) and water solution. I then sprayed all the plants with tonnes of water about an hour after that. I read that spiders don't like a lot of moisture so I started spraying the leaves a lot. I got rid of all the mites within a few days, thank goodness the infestation must have just begun when I caught it.

2. Had a cold snap within a few days of putting them outside -- at the end of May! I thought keeping the seedlings inside for a couple months and waiting that long to put them out was a safe bet, but it wasn't. I lost one cucumber plant and the other lost all its leaves :( It was sad as I had grown them from seed. One is bouncing back now and is looking great, thankfully.

Here are photos to compare to the first set I posted:
cherry tomatoes
lavender & some flowers
basil, thyme and rosemary
green onion, parsley (new addition) cucumber, oregano trailing upward & some flowers
